Price increases in the US won't affect the numbers that much, simply because most consumers buy iPhones under a contract. A $50 (rumored) price increase won't mean a thing when you are spreading the phone's cost over 2 year period. It will only affect international markets where consumers are paying phones at full price upfront, but then again Apple already has a much smaller market share in those markets anyway, so it wouldn't bother Apple much

If manufacturing moves out of China & India, then selling prices most likely will increase, at the time when every company wants to see growth, this can result in lesser ppl buying further costly iPhones.

Just like most consumers in general, Americans put value and brand trust first. It would only matter if Apple couldn't maintain its QC and support.

I think these phones are assembled in india. Similar to designed in California but made in China. All parts are made in China and assembled in India.
Didn't india get the 25% tarrif too? Or phones are exempted?
